By downloading or using the Epoch app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the App

Epoch is a personal fitness tracking application. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must be at least 13 years old to use Epoch. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You may not share your account or use another person's account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Pro Subscription

Epoch offers a Pro subscription that unlocks additional features including the Community feed, AI coach, and advanced analytics.
Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis and auto-renew unless cancelled.
Billing is managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. To cancel, go to your device's subscription settings.
Refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post (workouts, meals, photos, text). By posting to the Community feed, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content within the app to other users.

You must not post content that is:

Illegal, harmful, threatening, or harassing
Spam or commercial solicitation
Content that infringes another person's intellectual property rights

We may remove content that violates these terms without notice.

5. No Medical Advice

Epoch is a fitness tracking tool, not a medical service. The AI coach, calorie calculations, and fitness recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new diet or exercise programme.

6. Intellectual Property

All app content, design, and code is owned by Epoch AI. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Epoch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Epoch at any time for violations of these terms. You may stop using the app at any time. Account deletion can be requested from the Settings screen.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Epoch after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.
